     As a member of the Massachusetts Board of Real Estate Appraisers (MBREA) you automatically qualify for a 15% discount off the regular rates when you apply for Disability Income Insurance.  And depending upon the number of participants, you may qualify for additional discounts.

     
    Most appraisers are self-employed and may not be eligible for workers compensation. If you were unable to perform the duties of your occupation due to a total disability caused by an accident or sickness whether it occurred on or off the job, your income would stop.
